THE VINE is housed in the Halekauwila Plaza building, which sits in the area where Christianity took root in Hawaii. These grounds empower and inspire us to continue declaring our faith in Jesus Christ, the only one who can truly transform us to be individuals committed to transforming our city. A perfect church we are not. We make mistakes; we doubt; we ask questions––just like everybody else. We are imperfect people, but we do try our best to follow Jesus and live out our faith. Once you experience His love, grace, mercy, wisdom, generosity, faithfulness, presence (and more), it's impossible not to be passionate about Him. That's why we can say, “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” Educational background: A communications degree from the Univ. of Illinois, a Masters degree in speech from the Univ. of HI, and a Masters in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. A healthy practice you endorse: Sleep, and Emergen-C powder when exhausted or at the first sign of a cold!
