Sunday Service: Come spend Sunday morning with us at The Vine!
We meet at 9:30 AM to watch the live-streamed worship service from First Presbyterian Church at Ko‘olau. Afterward, we share a casual potluck lunch—or you’re welcome to bring your own. It’s a relaxed time to enjoy good food, great conversation, and community. Come as you are; we can’t wait to meet you!

August 2 to September 6 Series
We continue walking with Jesus in Journey to Jerusalem Part 2, a study of Luke 13–19. As Jesus draws closer to Jerusalem, his words become increasingly personal and urgent, revealing not only what it means to follow him, but also the heart of God himself. We’ll see Jesus longing to gather his people like a mother hen, a prodigal father welcoming lost children home, and unlikely people discovering that God’s kingdom belongs to those who know they need grace.

Through each parable and encounter, Jesus invites us to examine our own hearts. Will we admire him from a distance, or come near and follow? Will we cling to status, possessions, and self-sufficiency, or learn to trust the Father and welcome others? Join us as we continue learning to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.

20th Anniversary Service: Sunday, September 20, 9:30 AM
On Sunday, September 20, our entire First Prez ‘ohana will come together to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our beautiful Ko‘olau Campus!  In honor of this special milestone, there will be no worship service at The Vine that Sunday. Instead, we invite everyone to join us for worship at 9:30 AM at our First Prez Ko‘olau Campus, 45-550 Kionaole Rd. If you need a ride—or if you have room in your car and would be happy to give someone a ride—we have a carpool sign-up sheet available at The Vine. We hope you’ll join us as we worship together and celebrate 20 wonderful years of God’s faithfulness at Ko‘olau!

Midweek Gatherings: Wednesdays, 7 PM to 8:30 PM
Join us for our Midweek Gatherings every Wednesday night. Feel free to bring your own dinner or to bring a dish to share with others.

• September 9 & 16: Spiritual Gifts Class
Have you opened your box of spiritual gifts from God yet? Why not? Have you ever wondered what your contribution could be to help His church grow? This course will help you identify your God-given spiritual gifts and how they can be used to help others grow in Christ. We will identify the different gifts, clear up some misconceptions, walk you through assessing your gifts, and then specifically point out areas of ministry at FPC that may “fit” you and your gifts. Instructor: Bill Disario. Sign up here.

• September 23: Worship and Prayer Night
The Vine will be open for an evening of ecumenical worship and prayer as we join together as the body of Christ. Everyone is welcome.

• September 30 through November 15: Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Course
This fall, First Prez is embarking on a church-wide journey through Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, an eight-session, video-based Bible study designed to help us become emotionally healthy and spiritually mature followers of Jesus. Together, we’ll explore how our past, emotions, relationships, grief and loss, and everyday rhythms affect our walk with Christ while discovering biblical and practical ways to experience greater freedom, healing, and transformation. We invite our First Prez ‘ohana to join us as we grow deeper in our relationship with God and one another. The cost is $30 and includes the book, workbook, and devotional. Sign up here by September 21, so we can prepare for you.

12–Hour Prayer Room: Saturday, September 12, 8 AM to 8 PM
