As Head-of-Staff, I get to partner with other servant leaders First Prez has chosen to oversee the life and mission of our congregation. I am what our movement calls a “Transitional Pastor,” brought on board to help navigate First Prez through this season, concluding with the arrival of your next permanent Senior Pastor.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND RAISED?
Born in Santa Monica, CA, raised primarily in southern California, with stints in Texas and Minnesota (Dad was a corporate exec – we got moved around!)
SOME FUN THINGS YOU LOVE TO DO?
I like to surf, cycle, paint with watercolors, read, visit the country of Turkey, spend time with family and trusted friends.
WHAT’S A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU?
I won the school science fair in 7th grade!

Where are you from?
As the daughter of a diplomat, I’m from all over the world! But before moving to Hawaii, I was living in Chicago.
Why are you passionate about Jesus?
You'll never meet anyone quite like Jesus. Once you experience His love, grace, mercy, wisdom, generosity, faithfulness, presence (and more), it's impossible not to be passionate about Him. That's why we can say, “For in Him we live and move and have our being.”
Educational background:
A communications degree from the Univ. of Illinois, a Masters degree in speech from the Univ. of HI, and a Masters in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary.
A healthy practice you endorse:
Sleep, and Emergen-C powder when exhausted or at the first sign of a cold!
A life lesson that has stuck with you:
I don't always practice this, but in the words of Thumper (the fictional rabbit from Bambi), "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin’ at all."
