Where are you from?
As the daughter of a diplomat, I’m from all over the world! But Hawai‘i has been my home for over 31 years.
Why are you passionate about Jesus?
You'll never meet anyone quite like Jesus. Once you experience His love, grace, mercy, wisdom, generosity, faithfulness, presence, it's impossible not to be passionate about God. That's why we can say, “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).
Educational background:
A communications degree from the University of Illinois, a Masters degree in speech from the University of Hawai‘i, and a Masters in Global Leadership and pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary.
A healthy practice you endorse:
The contemplative practices that give you pause and space to experience Godʻs presence - Breath prayers, the Jesus prayer, lectio and visio divine and the daily examen.
A life lesson that has stuck with you:
Enjoy being with God more than doing for God.
